Day 1:
Giving Angie wheelchair status helped us get our carry on luggage on the plane! MSP to JFK, then on to Rome.
Douglas felt a cold sore coming on, so we stopped at a pharmacy asking about abreva and cold sores...the pharmacist was confused until I said, "herpes simplex?"
...and he said, "Ahhh! AIR-pees!" He then grabbed some cream off the shelf. That quote made my day.
Staying on via del Corso in Rome for 2 nights. Quaint place near Piazza del Popolo:
